La Esquinita Mosaic
2026in partnership with Mujeres de la Tierra and Youth LA Functions
Andrés led a community mosaic workshop La Esquinita, a native plant and ethnobotanical garden in Cypress Park cared for by Mujeres de la Tierra early this year (2026) alongside student-led Youth LA Functions.
The students helped run the project, handling community outreach, design, programming, and installation. We hosted a community workday where dozens of neighbors and friends turned out to learn mosaic techniques and lend a hand.
